Creative Thinking: Techniques and Tools for Success

ICL

About This Course

Hello! We are thrilled you are joining us on this course through a journey to explore creativity using a wide range of creativity tools. Not all creative thinkers are artists. Indeed, many jobs require a lot of creative thinking, despite having nothing to do with the arts. The aim of this course is to explore our innate abilities and enhance our creative skills to become more creative and imaginative. No previous knowledge or background is necessary, all that is required is an open mind. To begin, we recommend taking a few minutes to explore the course site to get familiar with its structure. The course is composed of seven weeks: Weeks 1 - 2 will introduce you to some basic principles of creativity. Weeks 3 - 7 will focus on the application of creativity tools. During these weeks, you will be able to master numerous creativity thinking techniques and boost your creativity through a range of assignments and e-tivities throughout the course, as you share your experience and learn from peers. If you are aiming to earn a certificate, you need to pass all of the assignments and e-tivities to successfully complete the course. We look forward to meeting you during this course and wish you an enjoyable experience. Professor Peter Childs and Team
